A small monster raising game with a lot of charm. The main idea works really well. You raise a creature and your choices actually affect how it evolves, which makes it feel personal instead of just grinding through a system. The gameplay itself is pretty simple, especially the combat, and sometimes it feels a bit rough or limited. There’s also not a huge amount of content yet, so don’t expect something super deep or polished. That said, it’s still enjoyable. The pixel art has a nice retro vibe, and the evolution system is genuinely fun to experiment with. You can tell the developer put real care into it.

it's too boring for me.

Games pretty decent. its like a tamagochi with retro flair. For the price, it is worth it could definately get enough entertainment out of it. Pixiel art and music are quite good. Can have mutliple creatures. that you are raising. Let's be real, for the price could get a caramel frappe, that lasts 15 minutes. Or this game which has enough entertainment for hours. Since the migration of the official server. You no longer need to create an account or anything.

Back in the ‘90s, the digital pet craze led by the Tamagotchi toys taught kids how to take care of a pixelated animal. These pets needed basic things like food, entertainment, and attention or their mood would deteriorate. They could even “die,” which was a threat that kept kids playing with them regularly throughout the day. While this fad has since faded away, there are still remnants of these digital pets around today. One such example is the game VirtuaCreature—a hybrid between Tamagotchi and Pokémon. The simple graphics of VirtuaCreature brought the vibe of Tamagotchi to my computer and Steam Deck. There is also the option to battle these creatures in a rock-paper-scissors style battle that pulls at least a limited influence from Pokémon. These creatures evolve given enough experience through training and battling, but they also have a mood that can sour if you let them get too hungry/full or lose too many battles. It can be difficult to improve the creature’s mood, but knowing what helps and what doesn’t (which isn’t clearly explained) makes it easy enough to train the creature to the maximum level. The biggest problem I have with this game is the “countdown timer” mechanic…

I like the game but there's some visual glitches I mean that's alright because you can just get out of it and get back into it whatever screen you are on but the fitness minigames are terrible there's a achievement to get 50 whatever Fitness thing you're doing but it's so hard and the running one is completely unfair with its hit box I got this game when it was on sale for 100% but even if it was for you I would say it's ok give it a shot but when it's 5 bucks it's not worth your money until they fix up the glitches add more stuff make the animations better and there's no replayability if it's not free and it's on this condition and it stays that way it's a bad game but if they fix it up because I believe it's a good concept then it would be decent if you are going to buy it wait for a sale
