About Rise Of Three Kingdoms
Rise Of Three Kingdoms is a Three Kingdoms history simulation strategy game. To make the product more realistic, we have browsed Records of the Three Kingdoms, Book of Later Han, ZiZhiTongJian and The spring and Autumn period of Emperor Xian. We also sort out material with eight hundred thousand words as the reference resources for the game design. During the period of study the details of Three Kingdoms, we have found many interesting facts. For example, Liubei was actually a man with nor beard; Jianggan, who stole the books was a handsome guy; the mother of Zhanglu had secret relationship with Liuzhang's father, who was the enemy of the former one... As we designed the game, we tried to put as much details as possible into the game and provide you a more realistic Three Kingdoms world.
As a lord of a certain territory, you will appoint your interior officers to search and visit the celebrities and input them to the generals list of Three Kingdoms. You can use different arrays and the advantages of the terrain against enemies with more soldiers than you. Military and strategical movement will be launched on the map. Welcome to prosper the Han Dynasty!
The game is in the stage of preemptive experience, and we will continually fix bugs and optimize the details. We will also add up many new contents and game plays, which will be updated on Steam. single player game but can't play offline without internet you won't be able to play when their servers are busy or down (forever???)7 found this helpful
a rough jewel to classic ROTK, but I'm refunding this game for now after just a hour playing. Incomplete translation and some formation are not working completely well in my opinion, it just basically a turn based game, attack, draft soldier, search people and reward them. But that's all, the formation is plain, the troops mechanism is bland, and it's all depend on character you own in your force. IF only they could bring more features like other original series is, and update regularly (?) surely it could be shone. Last update is last year though, and God only knows if the devs is still working on this or not.5 found this helpful

The gameplay is fairly decent, but the English translation needs significant improvement.
a really great game to add to all those RTK fans, its just deep enuff to keep you intrested, complicated enuff for you to form many different kinds of combat strategy, but not so compicated or deep that you have to micro manage every single city (tho i know many ppl enjoy that). Its simple enuff that you can go thru many turns without noticing how much time passed by. The only bad thing i can think of in this game is that, its hard to tell with simplified english, how the Arrays/formations, and skills work with theyre descriptions being very simplified english. Therefore you end up using the wrong formations against other formations, as words in chinese are many other words in english, and in english, a word can mean many other things when used in various contexts and sentences. It should still not be ignored that this is a good old fashion RTK game, in the veins of RTK 1-3, tho you can only 15 custom generals, its still good in that way because its fun.
