RK Override

I'm sorry, I just couldn't with this one. It looks and plays well enough, but it is SUPER slow (and frankly a little boring), and it got to the point where I just got annoyed and stopped playing. [spoiler]There is a point where your mech gets "overridden", and the controls and screen get messed up. It was VERY annoying trying to navigate when I couldn't see where I was going.[/spoiler] The story just wasn't enough to keep me going unfortunately.

pretty interesting and unique, it may end up short but its not like i paid an arm and a leg for it, just a nice interactive movie i get to experience

The narrative for this game was really interesting, a lot of twists that I felt genuinely shocked by. I loved how the writing of the world and the characters within it had a lot of intrigue, and left me with heaps of questions to think about even after playing. Struggled a little bit with the tank driving, but the dialogue and storytelling kept me engaged regardless. Overall, a great story game with a really fun story. Give it a try!

To put it bluntly, everything in this game is pretty linear, but it can always improve👍, just 2 things that set me off about this game. The pacing was SO awfully boring, and ended up quitting on the override section ;-; The story and dialog was also mostly a blur and i zoned out for most dialogs leading up to the override section I think this game has a very good thought behind it, but just wasn't executed in its fullest potential

this game managed to resonate with me, which is very, very rare to see happen. i thoroughly enjoyed it, and recommend it. i wouldn't do the same actions as the main character would've done, wouldn't [spoiler]go as far as to kill phoenix[/spoiler]. the game is fairly short, i beat it in an hour. the movement is sometimes clunky, sometimes not. one issue i do have with it is that there is no choice, there's a scene specifically named choice and you can't choose, that i found frustrating. aside from that, i enjoyed this game. really showed me [spoiler]the descent into madness of the protagonist[/spoiler]

RK override is a fun slow-paced narrative driven game. It is an easy game that most people should be able to finish without issue. Most of the game is spent navigating between locations while listening to dialogue and occasionally fighting against the visuals and controls. I love how the game foreshadows it's main twist. If you like narrative games then I recommend trying out RK override.
