I was looking forward to this game for a while, but it just ended up being disappointing. It is charming and relaxing and the music is nice, and the world is fun to explore initially, but the mechanics are just not explored enough. The main swap mechanic is very limited in how you can use it, and the puzzles really don't evolve or get used in an interesting way, past the first hour. It is baffling how dumb the puzzles stay throughout, where the solution usually boils down to just using the texture of an object that's sitting right next to the puzzle. Also, there is so much yapping and mini cinematics interrupting everything you do, that at some point I just started mashing skip on anything that pops up. If you are looking for a game to play with a child or something, this could be a fun colorful time. Otherwise, I can't really recommend it.

I enjoyed this game the little I played. Unique gameplay mechanic and pretty fun and silly, with some puzzles that had me scratching my head. its very overwhelming when you first start, if you ignore everything and focus on the story it is way less so. my only complaint and why i cant recommend this game, the camera is nauseating. The cutscenes whip the camera around and zoom in and out so fast, your camera movement is so fast the movement period is so fast. The game literally game me a headache and thats never happened, so im getting old.

This might be a really good puzzle/action platformer. It certainly has a lot creativity and uniqueness in it's presentation. Sadly it's missing basic functionality. There is no key rebinding for keyboard and mouse. This is NOT some nice to have accessibility stuff for convenience - it's basic functionality for many gamers. There are left handed or disabled people, those with different keyboard layouts like AZERTY or those conditioned to a certain layout through decades of muscle memory - many of them cannot play a game without key rebinding. For real, this has one of the most bonkers key layouts I've ever witnessed. 'Z' for speak, 'V+B' for some actions? These devs clearly never heard of QWERTZ keyboard layouts and probably never played anything with native pc input devices. The devs also don't react to my questions on the forum. In fact, this sadly seems to be abandoned, as there are no reations to any other topics. I'd be happy to switch this to positive if the game could be improved. But I fear this will remain unplayable for many people.

Its a charming platformer with a fun texture swapping mechanic and catchy theme song. I recommend it though I think its unfortunate that the developers went for a deep and involved story with so so much hand holding and npc's which talk way too much. I would rather have liked the Super Mario 64 approach with a little bit of story, an open hub world to explore and doors which require stars to open to progress in the game. This was what the Steam Next Fest demo felt like, so I dont know why the developers decided to change the final game to be this hand holding grandiose story thing..

I love the look of this game. Mechanically it plays fine. I personally don't find the gameplay loop engaging. The swamp mechanic doesn't feel very good. You may find mileage with this game. In my opinion there are considerably better puzzle platformers out there worth your time.
