"Silver Lines" is a badly made word/quiz game. The game revolves around identifying actors and films from movie lines. Players listen to a line and select the correct film or actor from a presented list. It's also copyright infringement, as far as I can tell... the "developer" owns none of the rights to the movies, likenesses, posters and character portraits they're exploiting here. What do you do in the game? As mentioned, you listen to a movie line and need to quickly select the correct film or actor. Speed of answer affects score. There are multiple rounds and challenges, including a couch-multiplayer mode (that nobody used, apparently). The game was a dismal failure for obvious reasons. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?), to the point the whole thing could have been done in a web browser. And there are much, much better quiz games on the web. I don't believe Steam is here to compete with Firefox and Chrome. Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play glorified 2D browser games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D g…3 found this helpful

Its an interesting concept for a trivia game, but the achievements are grindy, and many of the same movies are used over and over again, probably a legal issue regarding rights--but hey, its a free game.
