About Skinny & Franko: Fists of Violence

28 years after the events of 'Franko: The Crazy Revenge', titular anti-hero Franko returns to Poland to get his old friend out of trouble. This time also he will not go easy on his enemies...

Now, with help of his pal Skinny, Franko will wreak havoc in the streets of Szczecin once again.

Skinny & Franko: Fists of Violence is an outstanding and brutal 2D beat'em'up game. Designed by a creator of cult classics like 'Franko: The Crazy Revenge' or 'Doman: Sins of Ardan' that were popular in the 90's on Amiga and PC.

Features:
- play on 8 intense and packed with enemies and boss fights, hand-drawn main stages with a few bonus levels and secret locations
- dive into the story and find out what happened to Skinny and Franko's friend 'Shorty'
- 30k frames of hand-drawn, old-school animations
- use over 50 different weapons and special attacks to beat your enemies
- fight over 80 different bullies and morons (no reskins!)
- hand drawn and animated characters in a unique, own style
- car driving and shooting mini-games
- tons of humor and bad language in game
- play solo or in 2-player coop mode

The unique graphical setting, being a combination of a realistic world and satire, create a specific atmosphere, that you will find only here.

✦ AI summary

Players appreciate this as a solid, old-school beat-em-up with satisfying combat mechanics, environmental interactions, and lengthy levels that reward variety in attacks like mixing grabs with strikes. However, some find the game aesthetically crude and basic compared to genre standards, with concerns about offensive content, and a few feel the campaign length becomes excessive.

At first when i saw this game it did not appeal to me, it looked like a crude esthetically grimy simple generic beat'em up, But simple it tis not!!!! the combat is more grounded in realism but the moves and finishers are many and flow well with the game even though the game is a bit stiff itself , well detailed stages with funny interactions and strange going ons in the background . levels are long and i love it , you may not. Good game Great beat'em up , i hope they make another .

russian unofficial bootleg sequel to two crude dudes if you can get past the standard issue russian homophobia with related slurs you have a pretty decent beatemup. there is no juggling but you are mixing up grabs with kicks and punches, enemies react differently to different attacks, one guy might be able to catch your kick and counter you. there is enough variation in the fighting to not dismiss it outright but I would consider it fairly basic, for example you don't jump at all but certain moves have you leaping a bit or performing other feats such as the dragon uppercut or the zangief spin. the animation for everything is quite nice and over the top. I'm not a fan of extreme gore but I feel like an unlockable mode where you beat guys into bloody husks would be cool, it stops just short of being all that gory, meanwhile you can knockout a guy and his pants fall down and then poop comes out of his butt and falls into his pants please add steam cloud support for saves so I don't need to keep this game installed all the time just to keep my save intact

Skinny & Franko: Fists of Violence is the kind of comeback you never stop rooting for. A true successor to the legendary Polish Amiga beat ’em up Franko, created once again by the original dev — and yes, many years after original Franko affair we’re finally back in Szczecin, where all the mess began. The road to this game was bumpy as hell, sweat and tears, but it made it, and it hits even harder because of that. What really sells it is the expanded system of punches, combos and wonderfully brutal finishers — every fight feels like a tiny riot in the middle of a grimy, 90s‑style Polska street where the only law that mattered was the law of the fist. It’s basically a time machine to the era of cracked asphalt, smell of urine in street gateways, broken windows, sprayed walls, local riff-raff and violence. And the cherry on top? The game has full ongoing support, keeps getting updates, tweaks and improvements — it’s alive, kicking and punching. Even if you never played the original, even if you’re not Polish, you don’t even need to pronounce ‘Szczecin’ correctly. It’s just a damn guud beat ’em up. Just go for it ♥♥♥♥♥.

Great beat 'em up game, and still being updated by the way, also works good on Linux.

Genialna gra jak za starych dobrych Amigowych czasów. Polecam szczególnie na dwóch graczy. Nie ma się praktycznie do czego przyczepić. Dostałem więcej niż się spodziewałem. Polecam!
