It's hard to find good tower defense games on any platform really. So when there's one that this good and nobody is talking about it that's quite disheartening. There's only 14 reviews here on steam. Personally, I like my tower defense games simple and strategic. A few towers, a few upgrade choices, strategic level design, enemies that require a particular approach, that's all I need. I don't want constant grinding, no heroes, no powerups and all that fluff that eventually distracts from the strategy side of things. Slime Pandemic TD has all of that, everything I look for in a TD. It takes a while before it becomes challenging and then when it does, it's almost over. At least for the normal mode. I'm not a fan of the boss fight because it suddenly introduces a new way of playing. Throughout the whole game you have access to all 4 tower types but in the boss fight suddenly you can only build one, and once you build that you can build the next. You have to cycle between all 4 towers like that. After that battle you unlock the hard mode. In the hard mode you have less spaces to put your towers and it also has this same cycling mechanic. At first I wasn't a fan of this cycling sys…2 found this helpful

This hidden gem is a really fun tower defense game. It's a steal even on full price. Go and buy it!2 found this helpful
I picked up this game on sale for only $0.99, and it is well worth it. Even the full price of $4 is not unreasonable. Quite a bit of content here for what you pay. Keep these games coming!1 found this helpful
I have only played it for a short time, but it seems like a good game. For starters, it has fluff, so easy to add, so rarely done. Makes for a much better experience. There seems to be four types of towers, each with a short upgrade tree, with with on split at level three, which is nice, decisions make a game. I believe they eventually get tactical options of a sort as well, which is another bonus. There are places that you can put a tower that requires clearing, which is interesting, and the game hinted at spots that give you maybe some sort of bonus, but I don't think I have seen one of those yet. There is also some variety in the monsters, which is always good. All in all an interesting fun TD offering. The art is fugly, but the game play more than makes up for it. ADDENDUM: Over three hours in, and this is really a fun game. Well balanced, interesting towers, and monster. I have found two kind of special towers, one that makes kills more profitable, and one that supposedly does more damage, but no clue how much. Great fun.1 found this helpful
A decent standard Tower Defense. The manual click targeting feature is well appreciated, and investing in towers to destroy slime nodes for money & building space made things more interesting. Lack of resolution & windowed options is strange though. But it's good enough for what it is and doesn't overstays its welcome.1 found this helpful
