A short and chill game about a Star Wars looking [b]bot[/b]... in the [b]snow[/b]... in case the name [b]SnowBot[/b] didn't make that obvious. But yeah, the visuals look pretty, and there are some fun simple puzzles and achievements! The controls can be a bit clunky though, specially when you're moving backwards. I played the whole game (including all achievements) in one go, and still couldn't get used to how the bot moves backwards...

SnowBot is a small-scale atmospheric adventure that uses a lonely mechanical protagonist and a frozen landscape to create a distinctive journey centered on exploration, environmental puzzles, and discovery. SnowBot is a short little adventure game where I play as a two wheeled robot that gets stranded in a frozen mountain area. The first thing that stood out to me is how quiet the whole thing is. There is a lot of snow, empty space, ruined structures and strange objects around me, so most of the time I am just exploring and trying to work out what happened. It has a very simple setup, but I actually like the lonely feeling because it makes the world feel mysterious without needing loads of dialogue or cutscenes. The main gameplay is built around exploration and simple puzzles. I have a gravity beam that lets me pick up and move objects, and I use it to get around obstacles and figure out how different parts of the environment work. There are also runes that give me new abilities as I progress, including things like a boost and a scanner. I like that the game introduces new abilities through exploration rather than giving me a huge list of mechanics right at the start. It keeps things fairly easy to follow and gives me a reason to keep moving forward. The environment is probably my favourite part of SnowBot. More or less a 60-minute walking simulator with very light puzzling. As everyone else has said, there's a similarity to the movie Wall-E. The controls are a bit fussy, but it's generally relaxing. I wish the environmental storytelling went just a little bit further. It's a good hook for what could be a bigger game later.
