a hour and a half long adventure. the game is good but is very unpolished with quite a few bugs here and there. Had to restart completely because of one of those bugs. -dying kills sound effects -fights break and softlock sometimes -can't move at the start of fights for a few minute when you reload (had to constantly alt+f4 because of these) a tip: when trying to convince the ants it only works if the ants aren't using frenzy in which it does every 2 attacks so going back and forth between convince and counter works best as counter itself deals damage on is own1 found this helpful
A simple linear story serving as a backdrop for interesting combat. Visually there are a few slightly different artstyles among the character portraits, overworld sprites and depictions in combat, all great in their own right if a little dissonant placed all together. The environments are all well crafted with a good amount of detail and changes showing as the story progresses. The music is nice being upbeat and energetic while fitting the setting which makes it rather memorable. The remaining sound design is also very well done. Where I do have some criticism is the voice acting. Voice acting itself is always a plus showing additional effort, however here it is very inconsistent in what is voiced and most of the voice lines don’t line up with the written ones just enough to be distracting. A highlight of the game is easily the combat, which is set up a bit like Undertale’s with how you have to actively move around attacks with the addition of having to pass these kind of challenges for all of your own actions as well. There being conditions to fulfil for a more powerful attack is also a nice addition. Though I do find that some of the attacks can be a bit too difficult, if they ar…
I don't know where Ollei is, and I'm done searching. Five times is too many. Enjoy your renal failure or whatever, kid.
