About Spaceship Trucker
Riot in space... The committee of intergalactic travel decided to build a new star route, Star Route 66. At first the kingdom of Flee was happy to get connected to the gigantic network connecting the whole galaxy. The small empire would grow strong again and nobody can refuse the wealth that usually comes with a star route connection. After completion and a few accidents it turned out that flying one of the smaller Flee space discs on an intergalactic travel route is a dangerous game. Because of their small size the discs cannot be detected by the sensors of most star route travellers. The Flee uprising started when a member of the Fleeish royal house crashed into a spaceship truck. Since then Flees have tried to block the route. Encouraged by the royal house some of the space pirates joined in to fight the brave spaceship truckers just trying to make a delivery on time.
Spaceship Trucker is a 2D shooter. You are a spaceship trucker travelling down the dangerous star route. The Flees will try to block your way through space and pirates want to steal your precious cargo. Watch out for meteors as well. In each level you'll have to prove yourself worthy of being a spaceship trucker by fighting off dangerous boss enemies.

You might be thinking, when you see the title, that Spaceship Trucker is going to be a space trading and hauling game like the much loved Elite franchise, or even perhaps the X series... after all, who doesn't love Euro Truck Sim in space? Well, you're about to be as disappointed as I was when I played this game. Spaceship Trucker is, instead, yet another of literally hundreds of amateur 2D retro arcade bullet hell/shoot 'em ups infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This is an old and dead genre, and it doesn't serve the interests of gamers for there to be yet another "me too" entry that looks like it was built from a template/demo engine and rushed onto Steam. From a technical perspective, while this "works", the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The game features somewhat…2 found this helpful

Looks & plays a bit like a first game made on a c-64, but it's still fun, it gets more interesting past the first level. Worth the $0.50 I payed.
I like this game..a little slow but not too bad. Game play and controls are pretty awesome. 8/10
Nice little space shooter with some very interesting boss fights. Thanks to the leaderboards for showing me that some of my friends are way better than I am :/
