About Star Trucker
Pilot your rocket-powered big rig through space on hauling jobs, salvage runs, and encounters with quirky truckers across the galactic highway. Experience a unique zero-g driving system that's easy to learn but challenging to master, complete with maintenance management, radio chatter side quests, and original Americana-infused soundtrack.
Cruise the hyper highways, taking on a variety of jobs such as fuel hungry long hauls and hazardous drop-offs to earn cash and unlock new content.
And don't forget to monitor the CB radio for chatter from fellow truckers; it's a fantastic way to uncover side gigs and stay updated on galactic gossip.
Keeping your rig runnin’ isn’t always easy. You’ll need to keep your core systems online, gravity compensator spinnin’ and hull patched to prevent your cab from leaking lung juice.
Be sure to make pre-trip shop stops for replacement parts, and consider upgrading your truck at a local garage. These improvements are vital for safely navigating volatile sectors and ensuring timely deliveries.Use the galactic map to plan your journey and warp jumps, while keeping an eye on your fuel reserves and power levels.Once your route is set, kick back, crank up the cab hi-fi and cruise to a selection of original songs covering starburst blues, galactic rock and asteroid infused americana. The open road is waiting!

I'd put it neutral if I could, because I think I just don't "get" the game. I like other sim games like Euro Truck sim, American Truck sim and flight sims, but I just don't get this one. Its just driving from jump gate to jump gate in an almost straight line, replacing batteries as they run out of charge (with no way to recharge them and they're stupid expensive) and replacing other parts in the truck. The docking mechanic is quite fun though7 found this helpful
I adore this game. The graphics, the truck designs, the cargo, all of it. I even bought the Heavy Duty pack to give my truck the ultimate Heavy Hauler appeal. With the new interior customization I can now make my truck more cozy on those long hauls when I'm cruising with trailers full of minerals and heavy equipment. The radio station is awesome, with lots of amazing songs and would gladly pay for additional artists to record more tracks for the spaceways. I cannot gush enough over this game, and would STRONGLY recommend it to anyone I met. Its a comfy game that, once you get the rhythm down, is a cozy game and an amazing adventure! Careful on those spaceways, make sure your fuel tank's topped, and most importantly, keep on trucking. This is Heavy Bear [HVYBEAR], signing out.2 found this helpful
the game is fun plenty of little things to do and pretty rewarding, although i had to change some of the difficulty settings to make the game playable because the fines for little things far out weigh the payments you get for completing delivery's. and gas is stupid expensive (get paid like 3k after finishing a delivery but spend like 2k for gas) i should mention that the low paying jobs are early game later on you can get jobs that pay you 40k and above so gas is not a serious issue late game. i only really have 3 complaints 1. the end game is boring delivery's get repetitive and venture's while they reward you with cool stuff they don't pay a lot and its the same 4 missions over and over again. 2. the storage system in the game is highly flawed hit your breaks just one time and all your stuff just goes flying everywhere (simple fix to this would be to add nets onn the storage shelves or smth) 3. all the tuck components tend to die out very quickly which eats away at a lot of your funds its not enjoyable replacing the battery's 5 dif times in one gaming session in my opinion (although component drain can be tweaked in the game settings) overall its a good game while it has …1 found this helpful
For a 2 year old game it is still riddled with janky mechanics. The manual says one thing and the reality and the way the world feels is not the best. Shame for what is fun but becomes annoying1 found this helpful
i was looking for a sci fi game where you can ship cargo since i played all those starfield radiant quests about hauling and loved those and this game does all that 800 times better for a fraction of the storage and PC specs. much more in depth and is not just Point: A ---> Point: D although as with every cargo game that is a huge part of it. my biggest complaint is the lack of many local jobs but i heard they are planning on fixing that in an update in around 2 months. did i mention how good the game looks? it looks amazing and for its specs near perfect. overall 9/10
fun and relaxing, i was a trucker for 10 years
