The game would not start at all despite uninstall / reinstall nor verification. Continuously got an error saying could not load files from SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Star Rangers VR Demo/SRVR_Data/Mono/mono.dll" (error = 126).

Star Rangers VR - Free Demo was a free Demo for paid product. It does Not work on my HTC Vive. Popup a Failed to Load Mono on the desktop, and that is all it does. If you leave the error popup running, you do get increase in time running the program on steam. Do Not bother to Download this game, and do not bother to buy the paid products from this developer and publisher.

But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Star Rangers XE, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Star Rangers VR - Free Demo" too.
