Astrotour VR

It has very limited content, poor VR interactions, & poor design & quality overall. It's surprising to me that the developer is asking for $16.99 USD. If this were free, I'd be hard-pressed to even give it a neutral recommendation. Astrotour VR is an experience where you can explore 5 destinations: the moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, & Uranus. Unfortunately, after you visit the moon, there is no real reason to visit the other destinations as the mini-missions are almost exactly the same. They're not exactly fun either. The only thing that changes is that when you orbit around the destination the destination moon or planet will look look different. Also, after Mars they take out the last mission for the rest of the destinations. The mini-games are very brief and lack any depth. Game description key-points: a short an limited content visual experience for space travellers xD Overview: process is to make some manipulation to prepare the space rocket and then visit a planet. There are few tasks to complete as prerequisite and then travel with some additional options and mini quests to complete. Sadly, in principle it doesn`t look good and content is too limited and plain.

The game is nice however, THAT [spoiler] ****ING [/spoiler] ROBOT IS SO ANNOYING, IT'S JUST A [spoiler] WHINEY BRAT! [/spoiler] I believe that this game should be directed toward a younger audience, however to do that may one need to unVR it. The game has a lot of potential, and I appreciate the effort put in, it's just... not for who it's targeted to.

Astrotour VR is a VR exclusive game where you go on a short tour of the solar system, visiting 5 somewhat samey locations and play a couple of minigames... it's a very shallow and pointless experience, and the poor game design and quality of the "content" here is matched by an equally poor technical implementation. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. It needs more work. It's bases are well defined, it has perfect physics and some props made me laugh a couple of times. But it lacks of diversity, in-depth information of the planets and (please) more definition to the sky and the planet when you arrive your destiny. I will be waiting for more updates, but nowadays, for the price it has, i have to be honest and can't recommend this game. But i can change my mind for sure if you release what you are promising!!

Average 36fps on my system. Specs: Vive Pro 2; 3090, 10900k, 64gb Ram. Also, there's tons of visual distortion. This is the most uncomfortable VR experience I have played (and I'm something of a veteran).
