"Galaxy Forces VR" is a pointless VR tech demo, basically the purpose of this, as far as I could tell, was to demonstrate that the developer doesn't know what VR is supposed to be used for. See, this game is a basic ripoff of Atari's Lunar Lander (so we're already creatively bankrupt). But all it does is show a 3D VR version of the pretty much completely flat 2D Lunar Lander game. That you look at in VR. VR is supposed to be used for immersive, first person "put you in the experience" games... a point that the devs here apparently couldn't get their head around. What do you do in the game? It's Lunar Lander. You're playing an Atari game from the 1980's that the developers ripped off. The technical execution of this game is shallow and simplistic, just enough to tick the boxes required to get something (anything) published on Steam, rather than investing the huge amount of effort and budget needed to create a fully fledged, comprehensive, high quality product. This feels like a tech demo more than a full game. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while so…1 found this helpful
Before I played Galaxy Forces VR, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
