About Stardash

A modern platformer mimicking the good old days of classic platformers that require twitchy fingers and fast reflexes! Warning: this game is NOT EASY !You have an endless amount of lives, so you can quickly restart a level when you miss a jump, get hit by an enemy, get bitten by a plant, get hit by a spiky-ball, crushed by big statues, run onto spikes, get hit by a wasp, or any of the other many ways you'll get stopped in your run.BUT when you do complete a level, the rush you get will keep you coming back for more, and more, and more, and..Unlock the special Temple levels by finding hidden keys in every level of every world, and unlock a flip-mode by completing a level both within the time set, and also by collecting all the coins in a level.Stardash is all about the gameplay thrown at you in awesome retro graphics and original chiptunes.

Game features:

  • Classic vibes thanks to the monochrome pixelart graphics
  • Fully designed levels (NOT procedural and NOT random)
  • Fast and very challenging platform action
  • A thumping and memorable chip-tune soundtrack - a true earworm!
  • Secret unlockable Temple levels

Suddenly, it was nice to see my childhood game, for which it was remastered in 2025, and it was nice to take my head back to a less not simple game, I don't know how I played it at all when I was a kid, but definitely the stylist retro and the gimplay itself was instantly tempted to play, in 2012, just in Play Market (now Google Play), it was actually popular, even in general, and I wasn't the only one who played that game., like Meganoid (who was also in Play Market 2012), INC, NOTERIA and Gunslugs. I'm glad you didn't quit your job, which you keep doing, and you're also reviving the really great series of games. I'm fan pixel's games, style retro. Thank you again for remastered Stardash, which was fun when I was a kid playing, which is now. Have a good job and a good mood! :)

Developed by Orangepixel and published by HandyGames alongside Orangepixel, Stardash is a retro-inspired platformer that proudly embraces the design philosophy of classic action games. Rather than relying on cinematic storytelling or modern progression mechanics, the game focuses on precise movement, challenging stage design, and the satisfaction that comes from overcoming difficult obstacles through practice and persistence. From the moment players begin their adventure, it becomes clear that Stardash is designed for those who appreciate skill-based gameplay and the rewarding feeling of mastering a demanding platforming experience. The core gameplay revolves around navigating handcrafted levels filled with hazards, enemies, hidden routes, and collectible items. Every stage is carefully designed to test timing and reflexes, encouraging players to learn enemy patterns and perfect their jumps. Dangerous plants, moving threats, spikes, and environmental traps create a constant sense of tension, ensuring that even seemingly simple sections require attention and precision. While the challenge can be significant, the inclusion of unlimited lives and quick restarts helps maintain momentu…
