Stellar Mess: The Princess Conundrum (Chapter 1) (2023)

meh

This game really nails the old EGA graphics and atmosphere. It's clear this is a small game of passion and love. Unfortunately it also has very frustrating puzzles and a few pixel hunting problems just like in the good old days. So unfortunately I can't recommend to anyone except for those who enjoy adventure games like this. I think they need have a few QOL like better hints and maybe a way to highlight hotspots.

I like it!

Short and fun little point and click, nothing wow.

His obsession with the enigmatic Princess Lanor and his belief that there is more to the fictional saga than meets the eye set the stage for an entertaining blend of science fiction, mystery, and comedy. From its opening moments, the game establishes a sense of curiosity that encourages players to uncover the secrets hidden behind its retro presentation. What makes Stellar Mess particularly memorable is its use of location and time period. The decision to set the adventure in Argentina gives it a personality that distinguishes it from many indie titles inspired by the adventure games of the late twentieth century. The year 1991 serves as more than a backdrop; it influences the game's identity through references to pre-internet fandom cult…
