STONEBOND: The Gargoyle's Domain is not a complete/sincerely developed game, it's a 2D retro pixel "Game Jam" demo that was dumped out over the course of a few days then someone paid $100 to throw this up on Steam alongside seriously, genuinely developed video games, to take some of the visibility away from developers who did the right thing. It's a lazy 2D retro pixel platform brawler with a gimmick, you have to stay close to other players to keep up a bond. Because the game wasn't sincerely developed, no effort was made to do online multiplayer, and there's no single player mode, so this is a local multiplayer only game... a terrible idea from the beginning. These guys know the internet got invented, right? Apparently not. Resolution and controls are locked, and can't be changed or customised to improve the visuals or the control experience. A choice was made to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result.
