About Story of Love & Food
!! WARNING !!:
While this game clearly depicts the protagonist's romantic attraction and dependency towards the second female lead, it is NOT a traditional "Yuri" game( Some players have categorized it as a "Female Bonding" narrative / female-female relationship dynamics, which I find far more accurate ).Those seeking pure Yuri/GL elements may find this story deeply disappointing... Certain plot points and themes are explicitly NOT suitable for hardcore Yuri fans. I strongly recommend reading the content warnings before deciding to purchase!!—— LGBTQ x Dual Female Protagonists x Wholesome ——
"Fall in love with yourself, once again."Story of Love & Food (Love at the First Bite) is a short, light-comedy, wholesome "Female Bonding" visual novel. It depicts the story of the protagonist, Mi Lirong, encountering fitness coach He Siqiu, and how their lives change because of one another.————————————————The script contains approximately 12,000 words. A full playthrough (including all collectibles) takes about 30 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on your reading speed. There is only one major choice near the end of the story, leading to a Normal Ending and a True Ending. It is highly recommended to experience the endings in the order presented.Characters

This game is absolutely heartwarming. I thought it was going to end badly, but nope—it had really good endings! It would've been amazing if it had voiced conversations, even if they were only in the original language. Besides that, it was definitely worth it. Overall, it's heartwarming, interesting, and kind of realistic. Loved it!4 found this helpful
Fell in love with this game at first glance, and we exchanged games with one of my friends for it! For costing only 2 QAR it's a really heartwarming and pleasing to look at VN, all of the illustrations are eye candy! Just a note that there aren't any choices except at the end, but the story absolutely compensates for it!1 found this helpful
Story of Love & Food is a short visual novel about difficult relationships to food, societal and family pressure about looks, sexual expectations, etc (read the content warnings if you want to find out more). As the dev has clarified, this game isn't really yuri, though it might look that way at first, but does focus on the relationship between the two main characters. (In English) the writing felt a little stilted/unnatural and the grammar wasn't always great, but it was easy enough to follow the story and get to know the characters. The chapters don't flow super well together, so while I played it in one go, it might be better to do one chapter at a time, even if they are very short.1 found this helpful
5/10 it's okay. this is a short story, so of course it's rushed. I couldn't vibe with the characters, to me they felt shallow. the translation wasn't perfect either. but for this price point of less than one euro, I can't really complain. this isn't a bad story, but I'd only recommend it, if you don't have anything else Yuri-esque to play. also: works perfectly on the steam deck!1 found this helpful
short, but enjoyable. handled the themes it addresses fairly well1 found this helpful
i tried this game cuz the game had steam achievements that are easy to complete but didn't expect the story might be good. art styles are pretty nice and unique. Recommend to players who like to read a novel in just two hour.
