This game hit me harder than I thought it would. The content warnings are there for a reason; don't take them lightly. I went in expecting it not to be that bad and came out rethinking everything while silently watching the credits roll, and I've been waking up at 5 in the morning unable to fall back asleep ever since. Each ending leaves its own mark, whether bittersweet or just straight-up depressing. Sometimes I caught myself thinking I chose the wrong route, but the devs execute every path brilliantly. I have to say this is just genuinely a great game, and I recommend it if you're prepared for what it'll hit you with. However, I'd avoid it if you're currently struggling with your mental health.

The game is interesting in its themes and what its trying to go for. Some of the characters are more interesting than others but all of them have something special about them. I like the art style and how the interactions happen its satisfying to read. It will be a bit annoying to replay the game to get the endings but there are enough new scenes for every ending to make it worth it. Persoanlly this is probably my favorite yuri media (only yuri media ive read). But its definitley worth a read, its not too long and some of the endings will make you think for a good while. its a 8/10 for me.

this visual novel has you questioning so much, and from finishing numerous routes, you really do feel for the pain zhao ying's going through. if you're sensitive to anything involving domestic abuse, toxic relationships, self-harm, etc., i wouldn't recommend this game; however, it captivated me. zhao ying's story paints how one's circumstances ultimately shape their ability to interact with others and the decisions made. there's no real 'happy' endings within this game (from what i can tell by doing numerous routes). though, i did feel bittersweet at times, and i guess somewhat relieved for the outcome for zhao ying. genuinely, made me ugly cry at some point, so i recommend tissues! amazing art and tons of dialogue, would recommend for VN lovers who like more psychologically twisted stories (and if you're gay)

Incredibly well written, hits especially hard if you come from this kind of background and met this kind of people
