Strings of Fate XI: A Magic Dream is an attempt to create a new fantasy world of adventure for fans of the RPG genre. Using the Unreal Engine, the game world will be presented in a colorful way with already familiar graphics technologies and mechanics.
The player will see an open world with exciting quests, an interesting storyline and riddles. Heroes will face battles with monsters and battles with bosses, both on the surface and in the dungeons.
You need to play as a party of five characters, gathered by fate to complete a great mission - saving the planet from Ancient Evil!
An ancient evil has awakened and is ready to emerge from its imprisonment. The heroes of the game will have to deal with mysterious dreams that invade their lives. These dreams not only prevent them from sleeping, but also affect their actions in everyday life. Gradually, the dreams become more and more intrusive, and the heroes realize that they must understand their nature. But to do this, they will have to go through many trials, unravel ancient secrets, confront powerful enemies, cultivate strength, save their souls and protect the World.
The game is based on its own story and background. The open world will be presented in various biomes: land, swamp, desert, ocean, forest. Many dungeons with monsters, bosses, ancient mysteries and artifacts will be available. Individual character leveling, more than twenty skills, sets of weapons and armor, nine schools of magic with eleven spells each. A system for issuing medals for special achievements in the game.

I rather like the whole Hexen/Heretic vibe it's got going on - The spellbook looks really cool [h2]Cons:[/h2] - Robotic AI voice is absolutely horrendous. Literally makes me physically ill listening to it and it's used frequently - Grammatical errors make the game look trashy - There's hardly any sound effects and half are more AI voice grunts - Text can be hard to read: it's this old timey font, and even worse, a medium brown on a greyish background. Also no scaling. Just terrible - Movement is extraordinarily slow. You can "dash" slightly faster by holding shift or whatever but I shouldn't have to do that - Combat is HORRIBLE. It's just a carpal-tunnel inducing clickfest, and I can see why people say you just use bows and nothing else - The minimap looks rather muddy. Just a bunch of browns and greens with no useful markers or anything. I don't think I'd enjoy trying to do quests - The Help Menu only covers a few basic things and doesn't explain a single thing you'd actually want to know - I don't get to create my character? New - After a few patches, the game is playable, moderately enjoyable but still hella buggy (even stats not registering - looking at accuracy). It's a decent time sink for M&M desperates, but still, the insane amount of bugs ... also random crashes. OLD - I cannot express how stupidly buggy this game is. Get poisoned early, your stats are reduced and then poisoned status dissapears but stats still are reduced. An so on so on....couldnt get pass an hour of this buggy mess. I regret even the 2 euros spent on this mess.1 found this helpful
great game - might and magic style
I love this game, and I will very happily change this review if the game breaking issues get resolved, but in its current state it is unplayable. The game is absolutely fraught with bugs...so, so many bugs. The game is good enough to get past most of the bugs, but what isn't possible to ignore are the frame rate drops and crashes, particularly in the capital city. There might be more unstable areas in the game, but I'm unable to progress further due to the constant crashing in the capital. I would really like to see these issues resolved as there are far too few games out there that scratch that specific Might and Magic 6 through 8 itch, and this game does exactly that. But given the fact that the developers have been entirely unresponsive, my hope of getting a resolution isn't very high. Here's to hoping anyway
Очень душевно. Местами кривовато. Озвучено профессиональными программистами. Но в этом мире хочется возиться и прокачиваться! Только пришлось всё же читануть гайд, так как не нашёл базового учителя лука 🤦 И места, где сдавать квесты, забываются нафиг. Есть квест, а куда с ним идти, где сдавать -- непонятно.
If you are nostalgic for playing an old might and magic game. them you just found your answer! I found out about this game by looking into <More Like This> from another RPG on STEAM. It had not appeared in my regular RPG games search: a pity. After trying out the demo, even if there were some bugs with it, I did not hesitate to buy it. Why? Because 1. the developer is working to repair the bugs. In 2 days, there has been 3 patches already. 2, This game is even better then M&M 8 and 9. It has the same structure such as how you have to find trainers for the use of weapons, armor, spells, etc... When you level up, you gets points to improve them. There are so many chests, bags and garbage that have random treasures that it is fun to explore every nooks of this huge open world filled with quests. Monsters are fun to fight. With 11 hours of playtime, I have not done half of the most eastern part of the land I believe I could do another 11 hours, maybe more before I can move on to the other side of the bridge shows a lot of towns, cities, castle and surely dungeons. For what I remember from the old M&M games, this one is much more attractive and better filled with the content that m…
