Suicide Guy: Sleepin' Deeply

The start was promising, but unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the game. There are significantly fewer levels than in the first game, and now there are timed levels, which also suffer from poor controls and low-quality textures in some places. There was also one jumping level that was a complete failure, it was difficult because the objects were far apart. I expected more from the second game. My rating: ✭✭✰✰✰

This is a little better than the first game because the puzzles are much more elaborate and interesting. Unfortunately it's also much shorter, though it still took me a few hours without using a guide. The whole idea is that you're playing as a guy who is dreaming (while drunk?) and he must commit suicide to wake up from the dream. It's a funny gimmick because you find yourself searching around the map for the solution of committing suicide. On one level you have to race to the end of a Rube Goldberg device to stand in front of a shotgun before the trigger is pulled. On another level you are finding blueprints to build the detonator to a large stockpile of TNT. Even though it's kind of pointless there is an artistry to the game. I just wish it was longer since the first game had 34 levels (including the bonus ones) and this one only has six. Granted, the ones in this game are much more complicated and large.

Playing dead in a puzzle-platformer, and it's weirdly great. You play a guy who dies constantly and on purpose, to solve puzzles by ragdolling through the level. Sounds dumb. It is dumb. It's also genuinely clever how many ways they find to make death the solution instead of the failure state. Physics-based puzzles live and die by their controls, and here they mostly hold up. It's short, it's silly, and it doesn't overstay its welcome. Sometimes that's exactly what you want.

The levels are longer which is both good and bad i did like the short levels and many of them rather than longer and less otherwise great game.

More complex maps than earlier game, but they are too big and it's a lot of busywork. Also features the recycled extra levels.
