In it's current state, no I can't recommend this game. Since it is Early Access I do plan to change/update my review on full release (whenever that is). The heavy use of AI without disclosure is bad enough alone but the moment I opened the game for the first time and tried changing some settings to better fit me some parts of the UI broke and began overlaying in the wrong places. The use of AI for the character art is very in your face to the point it feels like you looking at a Ghibli AI Fan page on Twitter, the mood of the game does not match the art of the characters. The game has potential and a fun loop, I do hope the dev(s) can clean up a lot of the stuff the community is bringing up.2 found this helpful
Decent Game, would give it a 3 out o 5 stars. Its not THE game or gem of all time, but its defo decent. Listed a quick Positives, Negatives and Ideas to improve the game at the bottom of the review. Id say its a pretty good game but needs to improve a bunch before I would play it again. Especially content wise for the World the game is lacking. You talk once to NPC's and thats it, no new dialogue no matter what happens, there also is no small talk or any further mechanics with them, three lines of dialogue and thats it. The Carnival games are fun, but only two exist that you beat first try in the same night buy empty the shelves and now you have nothing to do anymore. From now on, you start grinding and take a break by spending money on cosmetics for your shop. The Gameplay loop is fun, but when the Grind starts it becomes old pretty quick. There is not really anything to do, you can "upgrade" your shop and get new licenses, but they barely change visuals, the cosmetics are lacking a little too, You basically just grind away, since most of the Objectives are to buy a new license anyway, there is nothing to do except grind grind and grind. this game is good if you like just fixing things or cleaning them but with a bit more added on top. when you start off you are really only picking up trash scrubbing messes and scraping barnacles off of ships but the further in you get the more things you can fix as well as being able to fix bigger ships and uncovering a lovecraftian horror story.1 found this helpful

I loved the initial demo and its stylings. What seems to be happening is a worsening of the game mechanics as the updates progress. I've played for 14 hours am level 68, but feel that the game has lost some of its early fun and pizzazz. The game almost lost me during its Blue Prince update. I just feel that they had an interesting story but forgot to do anything with it. It feels disjointed. Don't waste your money on a game that lacks any real substance. Maybe by the time 1.0 comes along they'll have improved, but until them give it a pass.
