About Sunken Seeker
"Welcome back, 617."
Sunken Seeker is a short, first-person underwater horror game. Piloting a rusty, decaying submersible, you must navigate the crushing darkness of the open ocean. Burdened by a massive financial liability, your only path to freedom is down.Your goal is simple: Salvage enough value from the depths to pay your debt before the Day 7 Deadline.PILOT THE SUBMARINE
You are trapped inside a rusted cage that is constantly failing.- Fear the Void: The ocean outside is pitch black. You can only see what falls within the narrow cone of your headlights.
- Scan for Survival: Since you are effectively blind to your surroundings, you must rely on your manual radar to hunt for salvage signatures and track threats before they lunge out of the dark.
- Mechanical Salvage: Use the sub's heavy manipulator arm to grab and secure cargo.
- Defensive Measures: You have no weapons. Your only defense is a Strobe Flash with limited charges. It won't kill the things in the dark, but it might stun them long enough for you to escape—if you don't waste it.
MANAGE YOUR ECONOMY
The Director demands payment in full at the end of the week. Every credit you earn presents a choice. You can invest in critical submarine upgrades to make the dangerous work easier. Or, you can save your earnings to ensure you can cover the massive debt. Finding the balance between your safety and your bank account is up to you.THE DEPTHS ARE NOT EMPTY
Your sensors pick up movement where there should be none. The hull groans under pressure, but some sounds seem to come from outside. Explore industrial ruins, sunken supply lines, and ancient structures buried beneath the silt. There are things down here that do not appear on standard charts. Will you clear your debt, or become part of the wreckage? What Steam players say

Normally I don't care for another "submersible horror" game, but this one actually allows you to look outside and explore, which is not as overdone as all the Iron bootlegs, and it probably has the most enjoyable gameplay among similar titles that I have played, you could say it has more.... "depth" to it. You control the sub freely, but there are also controls on both sides for things like your claw, radar, and flash weapon, so it has that intentionally clunky feel to it. I think it's a very fun game, but it needs a patch or two, it can be difficult if you want to go for some of the bonus objectives, and frankly I don't think that it needs to be punishing, underwater exploration games are kinda fun by default if you ask me. What kinda sucks about this game is that you can easily beat the game for the bad ending and miss like 80% of the areas, and if the game didn't have achievements for other endings/objectives, I would not even know that it has more content. However, going for a different ending is almost a completely different experience in terms of difficulty, you have to optimize your day to day progression, or you won't make it, and I think right now, experiencing most of th…16 found this helpful
This game has potential it just has very annoying problems. It would be an amazing, outstanding experience but: Too hard to control, the submarine is a nightmare to control, it ain't that serious, make it easier.\ ♥♥♥♥ vision, you cannot see anything at 2 meters in front. Again, it's a game I wanna see what I play no need to make it so hard. All these things make you want to hate the game that you wanna explore. Super disappointed.3 found this helpful
Really loved this game. Its simple but surprisingly addicting. I'm actually quite impressed by the sound design, very immersive. The exploration is quite open and for a seemingly small area, you really see the difference in the multiple layers and biomes. I had small hiccups with the claw not retracting the items properly, you would have to line up the claw with the sub again to fix it but other than that, no bugs. And it seems like they're fine tuning the game as well since the radar that points you to the ship is much more clear than on release. Bravo, keep at it! Highly Recommend!3 found this helpful
