Ship Graveyard Simulator: Prologue

Ship Graveyard Simulator: Prologue is a first-person simulation game developed by Games Incubator and published by Games Incubator together with PlayWay S.A. that introduces players to the dangerous but strangely satisfying world of dismantling enormous abandoned ships for salvage and profit. Set along a massive industrial coastline filled with rusting wrecks and decaying machinery, the game transforms manual labor and demolition work into an addictive gameplay loop built around exploration, destruction, and steady progression. Although the concept initially sounds repetitive, the game manages to create a surprisingly immersive and relaxing experience centered around tearing apart gigantic vessels piece by piece. The premise places players in the role of a worker employed at one of the world’s largest ship graveyards, where abandoned cargo ships, tankers, and industrial vessels are dismantled for valuable materials. Right. If you've played any of the Ship Graveyard series, you KNOW it's a long-winded game, yeah? From the minimal start to building your tool-kit to watching your ship slowly diminish in stature as you take it down, it's slow & laborious. But it's a satisfying feeling when that final section of Keel goes and the Job's Done. But Prologue is tedious, man., really tedious. Spoiler? You build up the same tool-kit, order ships . . . And the rest is crap, frankly, because you are NOT Breaking the Ship! What you're doing is taking down the peripherals - Vents, Pipework, Cleats, Lifeboat Pods, Acetylene Tanks an' all that style of thing. [b]You NEVER touch the Superstructure![/b] The things you break down yield Metals & Chemicals of different tiers, which you can sell, use to build Buildings - Workshop, Warehouse & Offices (presumably). Or you can use them to fulfill Customer Orders . . . When you build your Workshop you get access to a Smelter, which has recipes, which use different combo's of the Metal/Chem's you get from the ship to make other alloys & chem's. There are 3 bod's in the village that place orders with you for, say, 8 x Aluminium & 6 x Brass, and you collect and smel…

To be honest, its pretty fun, but i do wish you could tear some of the larger parts of the vessels apart, that would make it more fun.

Didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. There’s something weirdly satisfying about cutting through metal, stripping parts, and watching a massive ship slowly disappear piece by piece. It’s gritty, loud, and kinda therapeutic at the same time. If you like simulator games that actually make you feel like you’re doing a real job, this one nails that vibe perfectly
