Not worth the free price tag. The story is okay, as is the combat. But as someone who just wanted to get through it real quick, playing on the easiest difficulty, I couldn't beat one side mission. I shouldn't have to put any effort into a difficulty that claims it's almost impossible to lose. And yet, most missions are just constant spawning enemies that can rip through 2 units easily in a single turn. More if they gang up on the weaker ones. It also doesn't help most of the time it doesn't give you a mission objective of any kind. I can't imagine how difficult this would be on higher difficulties, but I imagine it'd be a real slog that takes lots of prep. But then again, that's what strategy games are, so that's on me for hating them. Oh and I got stuck in the main campaign cuz it wouldn't let me start a battle, just got stuck on the character placement portion, and now every time i go back to that battle it crashes.1 found this helpful
I like its turn-based chess game
First of three part Visual Novel/Strategy RPG. Story is serviceable with some surprising twists. Strategy game is turn base hexa game and it is quite difficult evemn on normal difficulty. Lack of planning and errors will be punished severely. This part is free of charge and there is on reason not to play it if it fits your preference.
Unfortunatley, even after 2 fresh installs of the game it crashes before the first battle even starts... cant recommend a game that cant make it past 5 minutes without crashing.
Initiating shock and awe!
