About Everlasting Summer
✦ AI summary
Experience a surreal narrative adventure where you wake up in a Soviet pioneer camp with no memory of how you got there, unraveling mysterious relationships and personal secrets to find your way home—or discover you never want to leave. Navigate branching conversations and choices that reshape your connections with eccentric camp inhabitants while uncovering the strange truth behind your impossible journey.
Meeting Semyon, the game's main character, you would've never paid attention to him. Just an ordinary young man with thousands, even hundreds of thousands of those like him in every ordinary city. But one day something completely unusual happens to him: he falls asleep in a bus in winter and wakes up... in the middle of a hot summer. In front of him is "Sovyonok" - a pioneer camp, behind him is his former life. To understand what happened to him, Semyon will have to get to know the local inhabitants (and maybe even find love), find his way in the complex labyrinth of human relationships and his own problems and solve the camp's mysteries. And answer the main question - how to come back? Should he come back?

The story is probably the biggest reason to play it. At first it feels like a fairly normal summer romance story, with us meeting the other characters and getting used to camp life. As we get further in, though, it becomes much stranger and more mysterious. The game does a good job of slowly making us question what is actually happening instead of explaining everything immediately. The characters are another strong point. We can build relationships with several of them, including different romance routes, and our choices affect which story we end up following. Some characters are more interesting than others, but the better routes give us quite a lot of memorable moments and some genuinely emotional parts. The atmosphere is also really good. The summer setting, music and backgrounds give the game a very specifi…

An extremely interesting game that makes me want to replay it again. But it’s still a bit sad that the endings aren’t fully revealed; I’d like to see a complete ending, even if it were a paid add‑on.
