Story Overview
In the year 2299, an interstellar war rages between the Earth forces of the U.N.E. and the breakaway Colonial forces. The tide of the war has turned, Earth is in danger. You and a band of survivors must fight overwhelming odds and find a way to save your home.Unrelenting Space Combat
Strike Suit Zero throws you into the heart of relentless action where no two encounters feel the same. Whether you're dogfighting skilled enemy pilots, engaging multiple targets at once, or holding the line against overwhelming fleet assaults, the stakes are always high.Master the Mecha Strike Suit
At the center of it all is the Strike Suit itself, a revolutionary craft that gives you a tactical edge unlike anything else in space combat. Switching between Pursuit Mode for raw speed and power, and Strike Mode for precise, highly maneuverable combat, means you're always in control of how you engage the enemy.Capital Ship Destruction
No target is too big. Capital ships can be dismantled piece by piece, with turrets picked off one by one and critical weak-points targeted to blow out entire sections of their superstructure. These are battles of both skill and strategy, rewarding players who take the time to study their enemy.Multiple Endings
Your decisions matter beyond the battlefield. Choices made throughout the game directly influence the state of Earth by the time the credits roll, with multiple endings ensuring that your playthrough feels consequential.Beyond the Void
Across 13 unique locations, space is anything but empty. Vivid and colorful environments bring the universe to life, complemented by stunning ship designs from mechanical engineer Junji Okubo and an award-winning soundtrack by composer Paul Ruskay, featuring collaborations with Japanese vocalist Kokia. Full joystick support and multi-monitor compatibility ensure you can experience all of it in the most immersive way possible.DLC & expansions

What Steam players say

It's a fun game; but it does *not* support VR. It supported VR on the early Oculus years ago, but they apparently dropped it at v. 0.7 (a relatively infamous version) and never updated the Steam listing. I still like the game quite a bit, but note that there is no modern VR support.1 found this helpful

While this game is simple it is what space dogfights and mech combat are all about, it's worth having hope this review ends up on their director's cut version. I played through this game twice it's short but sweet and if you want more of it without doing a campaign strike suit infinity can cover that.
The moment you transform into the Strike Suit and unleash a Macross-style missile barrage on an enemy capital ship, you feel genuinely unstoppable. The large-scale battles with allied and enemy ships firing across the void look stunning, and the soundtrack has this eerie maritime quality that somehow fits perfectly. That said, the game wears out its welcome faster than it should: nearly every mission boils down to the same 'destroy these targets before the timer runs out' formula, difficulty spikes can be brutal when you've missed upgrade objectives, and the story barely registers. The final mission is an inexplicable detour into tunnel-flying that feels like a completely different game. Still, if you're hungry for space combat with a mech twist and can find it on sale, the highs are worth the repetition.
bongo in space!!!
When Star Wars: TIE Fighter meets Gundam: Encounters In Space, and both binge-eat seven pounds of anabolic steroids in one sitting before doing the deed, you get this game. First-person mode is probably the nuttiest experience I've ever had in a space game. The sheer intensity of the combat is almost overwhelming, and even on Normal difficulty it's very hard. You will die a lot, especially to flak guns, if you don't master the use of thrusters, Pursuit Mode and Strike Mode. Despite this, the game never really forces you to use either mode, aside from Strike Mode's energy bar (which you fill up by killing enemies). It's up to the player to determine which configuration will work best for any given objective. Can easily recommend this to anyone who's a fan of classic 1990s space dogfighting sims and mecha anime. EDIT: This game can be pretty buggy and unstable at times, and the final mission is extremely underwhelming, so if you're not sure about buying this game, wait for a sale.
