Key features:
- Try to find out who the aliens are. Stay away from them.
- Alien players must contaminate the crew using a stealth, shape-shifted approach, or through fully unleashed agressivity.
- Alien players can mutate to gain new powers, such as wall/roof climbing.
- Watch your sanity level. Panting while you're hidden in the dark is rarely a good idea.
- Meet with everyone in a room to pass a blood test, defend key areas, extinguish fires and more.
- Accomplish secret objectives, be a traitor.
- Hack systems.
- Deploy sentry guns.
- Conduct scientific research.
- Engineer items: Cloaking device, Flamethrower, Extinguisher, Assault Rifle, Radio and more.
- Try to escape. There is only one escape shuttle.

[h1]Do not buy this game unless you want to try and convince friends to buy and play it with you.[/h1] The game had run without any serious issues and the majority of the already existing features worked fine. However, the game has not received an update since [u]May 26th of 2017.[/u] It has been [b]effectively abandoned[/b] by its developers and left to rot in early access, alongside its website which essentially no longer exists. While there are still some servers available for play, [b]there is nobody else playing on any of them.[/b] The entirety of my playtime was mucking around alone and holding the futile hope that somebody else might join the server. Your best chance of actually playing this with others is by convincing friends to play it with you, and even then [b]I would not recommend buying the game due to the abandoned state of both the game and its servers.[/b] I had purchased this in 2019 and I wish I had read the reviews prior to mine. If I was still capable of refunding this game I would most definitely have done such. The game is not worth a dime in this abandoned state. SurvHive is an abanadoned early access FPS PVP Arena shooter game with a twist. One faction are normal guys, and the other are weird infiltrator aliens ripped off John Carpenters "The Thing". The focus of the game is pure PvP, there's no single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the game. The vast majority of PvP-only games fail because they don't go "viral", and without players, or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Considering how much effort the developers went into worldbuilding the enemy faction, a little content would have gone a long way. Another reason the game flopped is the lack of polish and the poor visuals. Despite being sold on Steam from 2016, the game looks pre-2006. It's understandable there's no players, it's a dead game before it even launched. I can't recommend anyone buys this.2 found this helpful
