Play with your friends
White Noise 2 features a simple matchmaking system that allows you to play with your friends without complications. Enter the game, choose your side or leave it to luck, and start playing!
The investigators are back
As an investigator, explore the area, cooperate with your partners, and make sure not to get lost, or you'll be easy prey for the creature! Try not to lose your sanity and watch your flashlight battery level to avoid walking blind.
And the creature as well!
As the creature, stalk your preys and hunt them without being seen. Light can stun you, so use your powers to avoid it and wreak havoc upon the investigators, spreading them to make easier preys. Summon totems that will warn you of the presence of nearby investigators, and prevent them from picking the 8 tapes before you finish them off!
Back from the grave
In White Noise 2, death doesn't mean game over. Rise as a ghost and take advantage of your enhanced exploration skills to help the remaining investigators in their search.
Unlock new items
Unlock new characters and flashlights as you play, including the classic White Noise Online characters. Each one has different specializations and skills. Do you prefer a stealhty approach, or will focus on speed even while making noise? Better flashlight battery, or improved exploration skills?
Relive the best moments
Of course, the signature replay screen is back in White Noise 2. Once the thrilling session is over, take a laugh checking how the team walked in circles, or one of the investigators got lost!

I was loving this asymmetric horror game. You play as an investigator or creature. Both is very fun. Creatures have unique abilities, investigators only flashlights, if i remember correctly.^^ The whole game is charming and also scary. Unfortunately the game is dead, no one is playing it anymore, ,but i hope for a comeback. :3 Lets see what the future brings to us. :31 found this helpful
man this is just an absolute masterpiece.1 found this helpful
In white noise 1 the flashlight used to be infinite, but not anymore, the game is biased towards creature, 90% of achievements are creature based, the creature has significant power and can literally spam idols that you cannot destroy, so if someone plays creature they can just idol over the tapes the investigators need to win the game, and gain vision on you that way, the creature when stunned with flashlight lasts about a half second, after that once the creatures aware of where you are after you flash it with flashlight + glowstick, it will literally just run you down and destroy you, in solo mode you get 3 chances against the creature, but good luck finding all those tapes in the dark while the creature floods the map every 10 seconds with idols, did i forget to mention the creature can also teleport? that's right, if the creature has vision on you once you walk close enough to it's idol, it can teleport and grapple you, totally not broken at all. so guess what? i highly don't recommend this game, and white noise 1 was going the right direction where investigators had more power against a creature that didn't flood the map with idols and wouldn't give you less than 5 minutes to…1 found this helpful
How can anyone like this game? I booted up the game and everything was in Russian until I went back to the main menu then it somehow fixed itself, gameplay is very slow, boring. Thank god there is a solo mode otherwise I wouldn't of been able to get into a game. I was bored within 5 minutes of playing the game. Just play dead by daylight instead, way more interesting.
This game is GREAT! Recently just reinstalled it to revisit it and THE MULTIPLAYER SERVERS ARE STILL ONLINE WITH A FEW PLAYERS! It's a shame that this game is no longer getting updated after dying out after a few years, but it makes me happy to see that people are still playing it! So many great things could be brought to this game if the devs ever decide to come back to it or start developing a White Noise 3. I definitely still recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a nice horror experience! The only downside is the game no longer gets updates, but that doesn't mean it's extremely buggy! It has no bugs at all!
