Survive or Die

I really tried to like this game. I went way-out of my way to use my imagination, and my-own story to make the game play work. Game begins. You start as an escaped prisoner with a group of inmates that have, over-taken the guards, and everyone is running for them selves to flee and not get recaptured. As exciting of a start as this is.. It doesn't matter, because you can skip this drama-video seen, and if you wanted to play through it, you still can't keep anything you get, because its just an intro movie or idea for you to understand the game. Just get outside to find freedom as fast as you can. Now look at your mini map and everything in red is trying to kill you, like guards, and bears. All the tiny white objects, they represent "things" in the world you need. Like water is the shape of a bottle, scrap metal has a special shape, food a shape, etc. Ok so now your outside prison, and need to survive. If you press M a larger Map shows up but only shows little to nothing as far as information. Maybe where things and people are, but You will see three (?) on map, and these are supposed to help you do something. I tried to play along.. with the concept. Ok.. I need to…

The game looks pretty ood in the graphics department but i had no idea what was goin on outside of that. Bustin out of prison was simple enough. I didn't liek how we dont get to keep what we pick up durin' that segment. I also think the game could use voice overs. There is an intro story that could use it. I mean its not that many lines to voice over. When we get outside there is a map to explore but I had no idea what was goin on. We can't even interact with the map. All I did was die lol. There is potential here so I'll give it a middle thumb up. Gameplay impressions:

its a good game but too many bugs in my first run through the game loaded up gray screen. my second run through i built a second floor and then it glitched it out like i didnt even build it, besides those towo bugs so far everything seems great about it until i find more bugs. will update

game isnt bad really wish i could figure out what to do after i die instead im stuck in one spot and froze no respawn screen or anything. died a second time and had antibiotics and healed but was still stuck.

I like the concept. I was excited to start surviving. I ran around gathering things the first time, not wanting to run out of the prison until I took all I could, I got outside started running and then died when guards showed up everywhere - no reasoning to it, they are just suddenly everywhere. Naturally, them with guns and me with a knife, I died. So second start, I decided to just run out of the prison to try to get away from them so I could start survival game. Same thing, does not matter what you do. You can continue to just run from guards and still will die of thirst and gunshot wounds. There is no path to escape the guards, no advantage to run from them - and running is as slow as a light jog, but you lose stamina as fast as if you were sprinting. If there is a goal, or path, or guidance that to escape I have to kill them all, then that is not clear and certainly not any fun. The game is a waste of money when there are many others out there that are much more fun as far as survival goes.
