A Fun Co-op Survival Game That Gets Repetitive Too Fast
I jumped into How to Survive 2 expecting a solid zombie survival experience, and for the first few hours, it actually delivers. It’s got crafting, base building, looting, and that classic “survive the night” tension. If you play it with friends, it can be a pretty good time, but the longer I played, the more the cracks started to show. The gameplay loop is simple: you go out during the day, gather resources, complete missions, and then prepare your base for nighttime when things get more dangerous. At the start, this feels engaging. You’re constantly looking for materials, upgrading gear, and figuring out how to survive more efficiently. There’s a sense of progression, and building up your camp gives you that survival satisfaction. Combat is decent, but nothing amazing. You’ve got melee weapons, guns, and some crafting options, but it never really evolves much. Fighting zombies feels okay early on, but after a while, it starts to feel repetitive. Enemies don’t change much, and encounters begin to feel predictable instead of tense. Crafting and base building are probably the strongest parts of the game. The…1 found this helpful
This game grows progressively harder past the learning curve, and your reward for beating the storyline is an enemy type that has guns. This game sucks.
it a good game i play it on my ps4 good old day
67 funny number Good game, would recommend. Played it for YEARS, the progression seems very well explained, despite the community's complaints over grinding being an issue, resources are quite easily gained. One thing to note, as the tutorial explains make sure to NOT neglect your weapon's current state, meaning if it does not do effective damage or your armor is not up to date you will have to work on that, that is a core aspect of this game and you may struggle if you don't.
