Explore the paranormal-infested Granichny Island as a volunteer investigator, uncovering its dark secrets while battling monsters, anomalies, and madness through combat, stealth, and crafting. Team up with up to three others or go solo, managing both your physical survival and mental sanity as the island's reality-warping horrors transform the world around you.
Two years ago Granichny Island became an epicentre of a large-scale disaster of unknown origin. “The New Light” conglomerate covered up this catastrophic event - and now aims to rectify the consequences as much as they can.
A massive campaign is underway, during which so-called “Volunteers” - most of whom have never held a weapon in their hands - are sent out onto Granichny. Their mission - to research the paranormal activities of the island, gathering information and undertaking dangerous tasks, all in hope of amending mistakes of the past. None of them are ready for what comes next.
Play the role of a Volunteer, and explore a place filled with threats of every shape and size - from monsters and madmen to supernatural anomalies and seemingly impossible weather patterns. Journey through the present of this forsaken world to uncover its secrets.

Played this for a dozen hours with pals, but didn't like it. A lot of people compare it to Stalker and I can see that, but I just didn't find it that enjoyable. Not a fan of 'everything is very dark here's your crappy flashlight, now go on an overly convoluted and complicated FETCH QUEST' as a gameplay loop.1 found this helpful

Its fun with friends not best thing ever but its a solid stalker like you can play with friends. has some cool enemies and a interesting world but in some ways feels unfinished do recommend on sale
It's not for me.
