Tales of the Withered

Tales of the Withered is a choice-driven RPG set in the low-fantasy world of Wither, where a supernatural curse, called the “Withering”, has poisoned the soil and left the residents sick and starving. Take the role of a mysterious girl who wanders in from the wilderness, with no memory and no voice, but with a strange power that may cleanse the land of the curse. Meet the people, master the arts of man and the ways of nature, and decide the ultimate fate of Wither.

WILL YOU AID THE TATTERED REMNANTS OF THE VILLAGE…?

The people of Wither cannot survive without your help. Use your newfound powers that you are slowly discovering to grow food, chase away wild animals and brew potions to keep the village alive. Bit by bit, Wither and its villagers can rebuild themselves, and come back from the brink.

…OR WILL YOU LEAVE THE VILLAGE TO BE RETAKEN BY THE WILDS?

The Withering is a curse born of human greed; digging too deep, taking too much, giving nothing in return. There are shadows in the woods with flickering eyes and towering horns that think the time of the village has run its course. The time has come for it all to return to the trees. Maybe you agree with these shadows. Maybe your magical gifts are meant to clean away the last of the mess these humans have left behind.
