About Terrierble Logic

Do you like dogs?
Of course you do, because you are a cool person. Next question.
Do you like puzzles?
And I mean puzzles that involve more than just finding hidden objects, swapping gems, or pushing blocks around. Puzzles where you might need to pull out a piece of paper and think a bit. Maybe for a while, you feel a bit stupid because you aren't getting it, but then you have a 'Eureka' moment and suddenly feel really smart. If so, then you have come to the right place.

Oh, one more thing we should mention: there may or may not be some bad puns and silly jokes as well, for which we apologize in advance. We know logic is a very serious business, and we tried to keep a serious tone, but the dogs made us do it. We hope you understand. Terrierble logic is a game that involves taking the clues you are given and arranging the elements into the boxes together so that each clue is correct. All you need to solve the puzzles is contained in the clues, with only basic numeric literacy required. Sounds easy, right? Sure, it can be, but it can also get tricky when you need to remember a few different things. But don't worry, you've got this. Just read carefully and play around with everything on the screen, and you'll figure it out like the genius that you are.

What exactly does the game offer?

 • Over 75 puzzles of increasing difficulty.
 • Over 200 unique animated characters to bring the game to life.
 • Sound effects and a unique soundtrack to gently annoy you as you think about the puzzles. (Don't worry you can turn it off)
 • A simple point and click interface that anyone can use.
 • Recurring characters and story to tie puzzles together.
 • A 'simple English' mode that simplifies the language to help non-native speakers.
 • Some secrets and little extra jokes to discover.
 • Controller support so you can sit on your couch and still use your brain.

8/10 A logic game much like the Zebra/Einstein puzzle, but with fun stories detailing the lives of the neighborhood dogs. What is it: A logic deduction game, given a few clues, you must group together one item from each category in a bin. For example, deducing for each of the dogs, what is their house number, house color, and roof type, given clues like “Number 14 is not where Rufus leaves, but his house has white walls”. Each level has just the right clues to logically make the right deductions. There are two variants of clues, simplified and fully descriptive. The simplified clues only give the right information, if you just want to solve the puzzles without too much verbiage included in the clues, but the full clues add a lot of flavor, with extra details about the mischievous deeds of all these pets and people, funny or cute, and you’re really going to like them if you like pets. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3551616414 Ignoring the flavor text, the clues are very varied, from simple statements that directly tie one item to another, to complex double- or triple-negative statements that remove one possibility, and to relative st…

Clever games curator review. This is a logic puzzle game that reminds me strongly of the analytical section on the GRE back when that was not just a writing test. It differs from standardized testing in that it has a lot of humor and also cute cartoon graphics. If you've watched the game trailer above, you'll get a good sense of what the writing is like. Also, the game trailer is pretty funny, so I strongly recommend it - perhaps more than the game itself. I don't feel like I've played this game enough to be able to offer a full opinion, but since there are zero reviews, I felt like any kind of review would be a significantly useful addition, so here I go. The puzzles are all of the variety: "Dog A is older than either dogs B or C, and Dog B is 17 years old. The dog that is three likes ice cream. Spot likes ice cream." etc. Your task is to drag these facts into one of the repositories at the bottom of the screen so that each repository holds all the true facts about the dog that you have placed in that section. Even as a person who has taken the GRE, I found the puzzles to be somewhat challenging, but satisfying when I …

A cute logic puzzle game of the type where you sort categories together using clues. So you would for instance have to determine which dog lives in what house and who owns it. You can move the category words and images around to pair them on the screen but as the game progresses you might want to get out a notepad and make a logic table to fill in because it gets quite intricate. I really enjoyed the game and it gives you a lot of puzzles for the price. It has 74 regular levels and at least 3 secret levels that you get a clue for at the end of the game. With 3 hidden achievements left after I finished playing I wonder if there might be 3 more secret levels to find. Seeing as the game has so many levels I imagine I'll be playing it again fairly soon since the odds of remembering the solutions to each puzzle is very low when replaying. I know it says it took me 40 hours to finish, at review time, but it's probably more like 30 hours seeing as I tend to leave games running while doing other things and come back to continue. An easy recommend if you like solving these sort of puzzles. And if you are unsure about buying the Demo gives a really good overview of what to expect from …

The game is full of dogs and puns, and I can't stop smiling while playing it! Not that I'd suggest playing it after a ruff(?) day mind you, because the puzzle are not "cozy" level of easy. I know I needed pencil and paper for some level. :P If you're a fan of Einstein's Riddles, give this little game a try! Game size is a bit heavier than what I expected, but run perfectly on Linux Mint.

At this point, I'm about a third of the way through this game and 3 hours in, so I think I have a good idea about what this game has to offer. I have to admit, I'm enjoying this much more than I expected to. I like logic puzzles and I like unusual hand-made art, which are the two factors that got me interested, and they are also the two factors that keep me playing. The puzzles themselves are very well designed and varied enough that I don't feel like I'm doing the same puzzle over and over with a few small changes. The art and audio is charming and is keeping me hooked. The ongoing story arcs are light and fun. This game is very pleasant and I'd recommend it for anyone that likes classic logic puzzles.
