Corgi Cove

Having finally reached 100% completion on this game i can say that its a puzzle game one wont easily forget. While the puzzles can sometimes be hard, finding all the different solutions in search of that 100% has been a blast. Though worry not, the game is very forgiving if you just want to complete all the levels. The brutality is mostly reserved for the true bone seeker XD

Corgi Cove combines 2D sprites with a 3D world harkening back to the days just before the 3D boom happened, in doing this Recall Software have made a charming and memorable experience. The main hub being very reminiscent of a Doom-like view with your only option to bark, in place of shooting. You take control of a Gizmo, a Corgi, that has been separated from it's owner and crash landed on an island where they must complete puzzles to make it back to them. The game is encased in a cozy, dream-like soundtrack that makes it a perfect game to pick up for 30 mins at a time or so if you desired. The puzzles presented are fun, intuitive and have a great difficulty curve, steadily getting harder as you progress through the floors. The total content in the game is very much worth the asking price and I believe anyone looking for a nice casual puzzler to preoccupy them before bedtime will find a great deal of value in this game. High recommend.

So my girlfriend insists on pronouncing it /ˈkɔːrjɪ/ which is a little annoying. But that's not related to the game, game good.
