About Einsteins Riddle

Einsteins Riddle is a game of logic and deduction. You are given information (clues) and your task is to determine the position of facts on the board. The puzzle is named after the famous Albert Einstein, who is said to have published the first such riddle.

The game is easy to learn but very addictive. The difficulty can be individually adjusted by choosing different board sizes. You can select between 4 and 9 rows and columns. Each time you play a new, random puzzle is generated. On the easiest setting, solving a board configuaration can be done in less than two minutes. On the hardest difficulty level, it can take an hour or more, though. The game comes with a tutorial to teach you how the clues work and how to use them to solve the riddle. Can you solve Einsteins Riddle?

Love these kind of puzzles! I would have preferred a more simple design as I don't really feel the environment fits the icons of the puzzle, but it does the job. However, even with VFX disabled my laptop is still overheating and the game seems quite big for such a simple concept. I also think that some of the icons could have been a bit clearer. Especially when there are a lot of categories it gets more difficult to distinguish different items. One thing that could easily improve the visual aspect is giving each person a different coloured shirt as they currently are all either wearing blue or orange. One category has icons that are too small and detailed so that I couldn't actually make out what category it was (hobbies? games? holiday destinations?). The game is still really fun though and it's great that the puzzles are randombly generated so that you're never doing the same puzzle twice.

It's a logic puzzle (without checkmarks). It has levels and even the easy level can be challenging (at least to me). After weeks of playing easy I've started on normal. I never taken this long to move un to difficult. I've not noticed a cheat sheet to tempt me. There are other versions around and I'm enjoying this one (to keep the brain sharp).

Love it but the icons could be bigger or be magnified when hoovering over with mouse.

Simple game - but at the harder levels it can take quite some time to recursively apply the clues. On the easy level I typically range from 1 to 3 minutes per game.
