About That Way!
That Way! is a platformer about planning your path to reach a series of guarded vaults. For each vault, create a list of commands that will help your partner reach it. When you are ready, send them to him one by one to get him there.
You will navigate through 50 levels, each containing more hazards than the last. Plan carefully and watch your timing to ensure your victory!

platformer slop still peak 🥹
"That Way!" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This is a really poorly implemented platformer with a concept that's been ripped off from a few other games, basically you "program" the platformer moves and then press "play" to implement them and see how your planning went. This can kinda work with some puzzle games, but only if the developer doesn't phone in the graphics, or not even bother with graphics. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible.
