The Cromwell Chronicles: Beast of Stormy Forest
For your first adventure you will travel to the Stormy Forest Inn, located outside of London during the Victorian Era. S.O.F.I. has calculated the potential correction of a series of events that started with Lord Byron and a string of mysterious murders surrounding the Inn. It is your mission to not only solve the murders but figure out why Lord Byron may have kick started a series of events that would eventually lead to an apocalypse that happened nearly three centuries after his death and stop that from happening. You are Detective Cromwell, one of the last survivors in a post-apocalyptic world created by a mysterious plague known as The Green. Two days ago, you came across the abandoned and deteriorating research facility for Wittington Labs. As you explored the facility you found one room that was still getting power somehow and met S.O.F.I., an advanced AI system that the lab developed to calculate scenarios for avoiding the war and societal collapse caused by The Green. S.O.F.I. has asked for your help to use the Geographic Organic Atom Transceiver to go into the past and try to correct the timelines that she calculates may have led to the apocalypse.

Short escape the room game with 3 puzzles to solve. You start in the room in question, some guy talks to you for a couple of seconds and leave the room, you examine the desk, and a 15min counter starts. The graphics and audio are ok... There is some physics implemented, like when you grab an item it can knock down other items, but in the end it feels a bit too clunky, like if you want to get close to the desk, it "pushes" you back. The usage of the touchpads in the vive controls is really weird, i accidentally exited the game 2 times while just clicking it accidentally. The puzzles are ok i guess, they are easy, but i did "brute forced" the combination puzzle, even with the answer i couldnt figure out how the clue for it was supposed to help me. While the game looks fine, Overall the game is a bit to janky for my tastes, and the game is quite short. Cant recommend this even as a Free experience as there are better free escape the rooms available.5 found this helpful
Good premise, poor execution, and it appears to be abandonware, since its now 2023, the game came out in 2020, and ch2 is nowhere to be found, nor have there been any updates.4 found this helpful

I remember trying to play this a long time ago on a Quest 2 using PC-VR and it just refused to work. I have a different setup now and I was not really missing anything. Extremely short, feels janky, and just generally wasn't a great experience
