Play as Jack Navarro, who stumbles upon his employer N-AGM Corporation's dark pact with demons to summon the "Eternal Carnival." Betrayed and sent to the demon realm by his lover Angela, Jack vows revenge.
With the unique "Path of Carnival" system, enhance Jack's abilities by consuming demon organs and brains to transform and gain new powers. Battle through the demon realm, uncover its secrets, and thwart the corporation's dark agenda.

Dive into the dark and thrilling world of "The Carnival of Company" with features that blend the grotesque with the strategic, creating a truly unique gaming experience.

Organ Consumption: Feast on the organs of your fallen enemies to bolster specific attributes of your character. Each organ consumed enhances your strength, agility, or magic in ways unique to the creature it came from, offering a deep layer of strategy to character development.

Brain Consumption: Seize the brains of your adversaries to temporarily transform into their forms and gain access to their powers. This not only provides a tactical advantage but also allows for a rich variety of gameplay styles and approaches to combat.

Permadeath and Permatorture: Brace yourself for the rising specter of permadeath, a looming threat that intensifies with each battle. Fear not defeat, for if luck is on your side, you might escape with mere "permatorture" - a state leaving you with lasting damage but alive to fight another day.
Path of Carnival: Enhance your combat with fire, ice, electricity, or poison elemental damage. Select passive skills to improve parrying, mobility, and more, allowing for extensive customization and a unique gameplay experience for each player.

"The Carnival of Company" draws players into an adventure filled with death and discovery. In this dark realm, survival depends on consuming the essence of your enemies to grow stronger and strategizing your path of vengeance.

I liked the demo, so I was excited to get this when it released today. It's a weird, little game, where you are seemingly in hell, fighting demons, and you can eat demon organs to get extra abilities. The main mechanic is parrying and blocking and it is very friendly/forgiving. You definitely have to master the parry to succeed, you can't just run in slashing. It's a slower, methodical combat that I very much enjoy. There is some really fun humor in the game as well. There are no difficulty settings, and I didn't find it too hard. I died sometimes, but it wasn't punishing. It does talk about Perma-Death. But I don't know if that's a real thing in the game, or it just says that to mess with you. If you are wanting a hard game, this isn't it, but if you are wanting something casual and fun, this is great for that. Oh, you also unlock some nice powers/abilities and towards the end of the game, you have enough money to buy a bunch and experiment with how you want to play. I had a really good time and I recommend it.4 found this helpful
