The Heroes Around Me

The translation is so poor it cannot be overlooked or given a recommendation. I’ve seen many games where people complain of translation not being up to par, but this is BY FAR the weakest and most error-ridden game I’ve played. Spelling errors, random spaces in a word making it two words, bad comprehension of common dialect. It’s BADDDDD. There is no excuse for it. A spell check or AI tool run once through could fix 90% of it. This is low effort slop.

Man, did I want to like this game, overall beautiful pixel art (even if the blurred walking animation made my eyes hurt) , nice music, story meant for the feels. Every thing you could possibly want. The major issue is the english translation. Full on conversations not translated! Would not recommend! :(

i had a very favourable view of the game because of my high expectations. unfortunately, my experience wasnt good playing it. the game wont even let me exit while the dialogues are running, my biggest gripe with it. and the dialogues take too long and i feel my attention slipping away, although thats a more of a me problem. i do wish people made games with brisker writing. theres also too little gameplay for it to be satisfying. i hope to finish the game, just out of curiousity to know what happens at the end of it. but i wont recommened it, sorry.

I love this game so much! It's a very touching and heart-warming story. The pixel art is also one of a kind.
