About HOLIDAYS

In this RPG, you awake to find a dog on your bed. You then go on an adventure to try and bring it back home and save your town from the monster in the forest!

Features:

    - An original story where you won’t know where it’s going! I made the basis for this story and it’s worlds on two pieces of papers while in class over 9 years ago!
    - Created by one person except for the music!
    - Original art and music within.
    - Funny jokes and stuff. I’m sure it’ll make you laugh at least once!
    - On screen encounters.
    - Hug your way to victory!

You need to know!

This is also a short game that should take approx 3 hours to finish. Take it as a one off game as it will be a while before I get back to making the other parts. Take this game as a piece of art that you can enjoy and experience and most importantly, have fun!

What a fun time, the writing is definitely what shines most. I had many laughs while exploring the town. I also really enjoyed the art style, especially the cut scenes. Playing Holidays brought back memories of my youth, I bet Wallace and I played some of the same games growing up. The turn based battles were never too challenging. Which felt like a good choice, since I was there for the story. Occasionally I would unlock a new spell, but the first few spells felt a little useless. Then late game spells are OP, as they should be in a RPG. I’m looking forward to future installments to the storey or whatever the Devs make next.

I was pleasantly surprised that HOLIDAYS is much better than most RPGMaker games at similar prices. The writing is fairly good, where I enjoyed exploring and talking with many people in the town. And yes, I laughed a few times. It has a unique artstyle with a 2.D/semi-3D perspective (I don't know the proper term) outside the combat. Music/OST choice also fits with the story. My only complaint is about the combat. There are too many combat against regular enemies which reduced my immersion. At least, there should be an option to instantly kill all enemies (when you only fight regular enemies) while still obtaining the reward. Despite that, I still can recommend this game and RPGMaker enthusiasts who are looking for something different should consider playing HOLIDAYS.
