Game Summary:
This game is essentially the reverse of a tower-defense game. You do build bases, but they generate troops at your discretion since you buy each one that spawns in. Your goal is to get them past the enemy mobs and towers to take out their main base, with them trying to do the same to you (though you don't have towers). This isn't an unusual subversion of the TD genre, I've seen games do it before, but I think it's a bit harder to balance and design and the game manages to pull it off.
Pros:
• The music works in steel-drums, and that's not something you can say about soundtracks very often. The tunes tend to be chipper and could almost fit as dance music. I tend to enjoy instrumental music though as a personal preference, so this falls into that arena for me easily. • The game mixes up its style every so often with mini-game stages. They work off the basic engine, but one of them involves you trying to deliver a letter by placing springs on the stage at the right time to dodge enemies. It's a nice mixer so it's not constantly the same thing the whole way through. • This style of game isn't as common as a normal TD game, but even thoug…

Very fun and addicting, would definitely recommend playing it to anyone who enjoys strategy games or games with a pixel art style.

This game is very tedious. Almost no one bought it to find out, so I'm telling you here.

I love it. Discovered it from FlatRedBall and bought it to support the devs but man its genuinely a lot of fun. It reminds me a lot of Plants vs Zombies in terms of the vibe and casual accessibility (while still having some depth) but what I really love is that you can replay harder versions of earlier missions for upgrades and to research the enemy. These Silver/Gold variant of the missiosn can be genuinely hard or even legitmately impossible without the upgrades from later missions. It creates this really fun gameplay loop for me where I wanna do the later missions to get upgrades to complete earlier missions harder variants. I love that the game doesn't stop you from attempting a harder variant of an earlier mission even if it really is impossible with your loadout. It adds that sense of discovery like 'omg can I actually do it?' and makes it feel so satisifying when I do it. It also just runs well

A nice, just genuine bit of fun auto battler/strategy game. Plays a bit like Age of War (web game) and the like, but much more polished. The story is well written and quite funny, and the game progression mechanics are a nice blend of permanent progression and more temporary features (e.g. you have to rebuild your base each level), but with the base rebuild on each level you can configure the load out of your creatures and powers and which order they appear in. Rather short, finished in a few hours but reflects in the cheaper price (n.b. I did get product for free) so seems about right for the deal. Will probably get through and 100% it as it doesn't seem too grindy to come back and do the silver and gold star levels.

This game is a poopy mobile port with braindead gameplay. The art is good, though.
