About Kingdom Rush Frontiers - Tower Defense
Defend exotic kingdoms from waves of fantastical enemies by strategically placing and upgrading specialized towers, heroes, and special abilities across desert, jungle, and underground battlefields. Kingdom Rush: Frontiers expands the tower defense formula with new tower types, 40+ unique enemies, 16 legendary heroes, and multiple difficulty modes packed into charming pixel art presentation with tons of content and replayability.
Bigger and badder than ever before, Kingdom Rush: Frontiers is a whole new level of the furiously fast, enchantingly charming gameplay that made the original title an award-winning hit. Command your troops through an epic (mis)adventure as you defend exotic lands from dragons, man-eating plants, and ghastly denizens of the underworld -all with flashy new towers, levels, heroes, and more goodies to help you crush your foes to a pulp. (Don't worry, we've still got all the good ol' stuff from the last game, too. It's vintage now.)
Kingdom Rush: Frontiers packs in so much content, it's like a fully upgraded artillery blast of mouthwatering, pixelated joy launched right into your smiling little face... and it hurts so good!

This was my first Kingdom Rush game. I loved old web tower defense games, so when I found this franchise on Steam I was really excited. At first I didn't like the hero and reinforcements/meteor abilities, I wanted just a standard tower defense; overtime I grew to appreciate the place they had in the game and the variety they created. This is the first and only game I've earned 100% of achievements, on a Steam account I've had for well over a decade; make of that what you will. If you like tower defense games, you'll like Kingdom Rush Frontiers. I look forward to trying the others in the series.
It's as good as the first one. The tutorial is comprised to one stage this time. The shop (only in-game currency!) is a great addition. Maaany cool pop culture references. Familiar buildings mixed with new ones. This is once again a great game. Classic TD for a reasonable price, no loot boxes or micro transactions. Replay value.

any price is a cheap price, the epitome of Tower Defense genre
Very good. If you've played the first one, you'll love this one
Short, but still fun game. But the difficulty is confusing: it heavily relies on your hero choice, hero level, upgrades. In most games developers adjust the difficulty for the player, but here it's the player who decides how difficult they want this to be. Also, you need to figure out which towers and tower abilities suck, but, at least, in this game, it's only 1 T4 mage tower that is useless.
