The Lancaster Leak - Entity Exam

Yeah, just like the previous games, it's a great idea but unfortunately pretty poorly executed. It relies way too much on loud jumpscares, which is a pretty bad way to create horror because loud doesn't automatically mean scary. I think it could have been much better if it focused more on building an actual horror atmosphere instead.

Meh, you might love it if you are interested in analogue horror. Some sections are taking too long, and it stopped being scary quickly for me.

Decently scary for people new to horror, also all the dark skinned people seem to be skinwalkers. Nothing was really scary to me except the video which had a bit of suspense but the jumpscare was complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

1. It uses AI. I suspected it when playing, but I wasn't certain until I checked other reviews. 2. It isn't scary. It tries to be, and fails. 3. It's not that good gamplay wise either. It's a good concept but could do with much better execution. Could also do with a skip button for text.

I really enjoyed this "exam". The content felt very fulfilling and the entity 101 felt much harder because of the fact that i was barely listening, the fact that you can opt out of the game using your webcam is a nice feature, though as someone with bad headphones, the listening exam was hard but the darkness created a sensational eerie feeling that had my skin crawling (in a good way). It genuinely felt like the E.R.D is a real thing that i was doing an exam for, the retro CRT monitor look also gave the game a more creepy feeling. 10/10, would recommend to anyone...

actual fun game, very creative style, the last jumpscare was the cherry on top
