The Last Friend: First Bite

"The Last Friend: First Bite" is is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "The Last Bite". The Last Bite is a badly made ripoff of Plants vs Zombies with a nonsensical "space dog" skin, made for the Nintendo Switch, but an objective failure, in no small way than this looks more like a flash game/mobile app that compares poorly to even other Nintendo Switch games (I don't think I need to point out we're here on Steam for PC games, not Nintendo Switch toys for kids). But this isn't completely relevant because this is not The Last Bite, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "The Last Friend: First Bite" too. Even being more into cats than dogs i liked it and reminded me some old school street fighter games from past. Pretty enjoyable to pass time and fun too. Totally recommend to who want give it a try ^-^s2

Cool graphics, it has dogs in it, the music makes you feel like a retro cool guy. Not my type of game. Meh/Okay I guess/too good to be rated down.

It's alright, but with my short time with it, it didn't really shine. It don't feel tight enough nor punchy, thus not entertaining enough to make me keep playing. The character name is Alpha that looks badass but he felt like simple regular joe. This feels like barebones flash game that works but not stand out even with unique gameplay. Something about it's flashy graphic & sound effect that felt too tame & average. I can't also ignore the lack of frames in it's animation, it felt not enough. Maybe that's why I missed the punchy feeling.
