A SUPERNATURAL STORY OF CHOICE AND CONSEQUENCE

It's pretty. It's vapid. It's... pretty vapid? (the parents' well-intentioned-but-selfish reasons for effing up their kid's mind are... simply too weird) That said, don't get me wrong - I love me some plot, and I love me some puzzles. I don't love me slow-paced cutscenes that are unskippable. Likewise, when you can't resume a level - you have to restart the *&*(%*@'ing thing from scratch if you quit out halfway thru the level. I loathe slow-paced unskippable cutscenes in a game that makes you restart a level from scratch when you quit the game mid-level. Because real-life intruding on game-time is a thing. Plus, the boss fight at the end of this puzzle game... feh. I fought him a half dozen times or so, managed to wound him twice, and then couldn't be bothered to try any more; the mechanics were too awkward. (can't sprint sideways so you have to guess when to sprint from his beam attack, stamina meter depletes before his beam attack ends, and the boss' beam attack kills you in two quick swipes if w/o stamina)3 found this helpful
Yeah, where do I even start? This game is honestly one of the best indie games I have ever played. From the moment I started, I was hooked. The graphics were fantastic, the atmosphere was incredibly well-crafted, and I never experienced any lag or technical issues that took me out of the experience. Everything felt polished and carefully designed, which made it even easier to get immersed in the world. One of the biggest strengths of the game is its story. It constantly kept me interested and wanting to know more. Every new discovery raised more questions, and I found myself eager to keep playing just to uncover another piece of the mystery. That said, I do think the story is a little confusing at times. However, since this is only Chapter One, that confusion might be completely intentional. There are still a lot of unanswered questions, and I imagine future chapters will either clarify the events of this story or expand on them in unexpected ways. Of course, there's always the possibility that the developers decide to move in a different direction and introduce a new protagonist or storyline altogether. Either way, I'm curious to see where things go from here. The puzzles we…2 found this helpful

Plays excellent for a Unity game, that is rare, it must be very well optimised i suppose, thank you devs, puzzles are a bit on the harder side but very rewarding when you do them, gorgeous graphics and i can relate to the story, good game so far.1 found this helpful
This game was pretty good. The main thing I would've loved to see different (and hope to see different in Chapter 2 and 3) is that the animations that were attached to most dialogue felt slow and sluggish with the camera swaying back and forth. It felt like it took the pacing away for the game a bit. In general, many of those could be skipped and just let the narration play and let the player control the character and just walk around a bit instead of the game "stealing" the camera movement away. It feels like that'd give it a better flow. Just a personal opinion though, but also echoed a bit by chat Other than that though, very nice game and curious to see how the next chapter will take shape!1 found this helpful
