About The Masochistic Ball

You are a ball. You roll, you jump, you fall. You try again.
The Masochistic Ball is a 2D platformer that starts off light-hearted… then steadily descends into madness.Over the course of 40 carefully designed levels, the difficulty grows — from smooth and approachable beginnings to brutally demanding challenges that test your timing, control, and persistence.
No enemies. No guns. Just pure platforming and the sweet taste of failure. The Masochistic Ball is for players who like a good struggle, a satisfying climb, and that tiny voice that says “okay, just one more try.”Do you have what it takes to roll all the way to the end?

This game blows flappy bird out of the water. It's strangly addicting -- even though it's super hard I cant stop playing it. I reccomend anyone who likes flappy bird to play this game... you wont regret it. I also love the music it has so much charm to it.

The progression of difficulty in the levels of this game is as smooth as Cognac. For the best experience coming from me: I really recommend people to play this while streaming music that they like (though, the in-game music isn't bad; some good ones are in there) — on twitch or YouTube. That will keep you feeling good and occupied, while grinding the game's harder courses, along with having a chat with viewers on occasion being rewarding. You'll eventually find that precision is the key to winning, and nothing else. I can only wonder how most of the hard levels would make me feel, because I feel like I've reached my masochistic limit. Whenever I want to delve deeper, maybe I will become a new person, if I end up beating most of the Hard levels. I imagine, there might be some people out there who will beat the entire game, including all of the Torture difficulty. For these people, there will have to be a new difficulty level created, called Hell. People who would beat this theoretical difficulty level can be called our new kings of the underworld.

A rage-inducing game. Don't judge by the simplistic looks: it is very addictive. And the music is kinda vibe. Completed Easy and Medium levels; currently planning to finish the whole campaign after I recover my shattered sanity. At the moment I completely hate every round object in existance. Small tip for those who struggle without a "pause" - you don't actually have to start the game from the beginning - just go into the corresponding difficulty option in the main menu - from there you'll be able to continue the level you haven't finished yet. Finished ones have your PB time on them.

Although the game is simplistic looking, it's still pretty fun, but since there is no actual pause button, however, i kept having to restart from the beginning of the game. Despite that, i still enjoyed the game 6/10
