About The Museum of Hauntology
The Museum of Hauntology is a VR environment in PC VR format. It is a limited sandbox game intended to make the most of the experiential potential of VR. Built with Unity's High Definition Render Pipeline, the Museum attempts to push what's possible, while retaining playability. The Museum features several different 'exhibitions'; each can transport the player to a different location to see where items in the exhibition came from. There's no objective in this game. Just like a real museum; take your time and enjoy your visit. But if you do enjoy a challenge, try to unlock the Music Room by finding the hidden four-digit code.

The Museum of Hauntology is a Free VR museum experience. It worked on my Index and HTC Vive system with RTX 4070 Ti Super. You have four museum rooms to explore with exhibits from an Alternate history, so not real. This program requires more graphics horsepower so you need a high end GPU. Could call this a tech demo. Maybe try this free experience.4 found this helpful
Another free VR museum experience. A spooky museum this time. My computer/Quest 3 had a hard time running this.
These scenes are very good difficult to understand may be lacking culture background. It requires very powerful GPU, my RTX 3060 plays this app with 15FPS.
I've just spend about an hour 'in' here. I visited the exhibits, I collected the numbers, I listened to music in the music room... I sort of enjoyed it but I left confused. It looks great. And I really want to see more VR Museums... but I just didn't understand what the point of the exhibits were. Just some pictures, a few items, wierd music, a hint of a story. I sort of enjoyed its creepyness... For free, why not give it a whirl. I enjoyed it but I can't quite figure out why.
