Played this before the Steam launch but replayed some of it to make sure it held up. I definitely enjoyed this one; gave me some Fate/Stay vibes in terms of the protagonist. Significantly less discussion of eggplants and terrifying sex metaphors than Fate, thankfully. As the description warns, it's a kinetic novel - no choices, and the main character is fully fleshed out. I found that worked quite well for me, since the main character is interesting and seeing into his thoughts really sells the game. I think the full game took me about 4-6 hours to get through, and I wasn't tuning out for any of it. Things start off solid and continue to excel as the plot thickens and more characters are introduced, ending in a fantastic crescendo! Overall, I highly recommend it. It's free, what do you have to lose?2 found this helpful
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:162 found this helpful
"The Nameless Braves: Heaven (Episode 1)" is a badly written E-Book slapped together with the godawful Ren'Py E-book construction kit. So, this isn't a game, no real game development took place, and no professional quality writing happened here either. We can tell that because if the "author" could write properly, they'd be a published author with books in bookstores rather than having to pay $100 to dump an E-book on Steam. We can at least take some solace in that there's no Episode 2. There's your usual high school anime club dropout fanfiction plot here that really does make Twilight look like a masterpiece in writing. It's bad... so very, very bad. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent readers... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and download…1 found this helpful
A great start to an epic story! Elijah and his friends are a compelling group to follow so far, and the story leaves quite a bit of intrigue for the future! It's born from a rich fantasy world that has yet to show all of its capabilities, with more on the horizon. I implore anyone willing to give this story a try!1 found this helpful
