A prequel to Fallstreak, providing background on Socotrine and the Verloren Master. Unrelentingly bleak and desolate, yet hypnotic and almost serene at the same time. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

The second game in the Fallstreak series serves as a prequel to the events of the first. The tone in this one is a lot darker starting off. Despite its short length of around 2 hours it still retains the psychological elements from the first game with the addition of dark fantasy elements and plenty of new lore for those interested. If the length is a breaking point for you this game seems to function more as a side story than an absolute requirement. Fallstreak 2:Traum is a direct sequel to the first game and is treated as such. The only downside to the story is that the short length left me wanting more after getting me interested in the world and main character, this was a problem with Fallstreak 1 but it is less relevant there since it is free and it is still longer at around 8 hours. I have 4 hours on the game and I've read through twice. Once upon release and once for a reread when the next game released. I am biased; enjoyed having more lore from a series i already liked. If you read this without reading the 1st game it is still a good short story but lacks any of the context of being from a series. Overall i would consider this a good short read; I feel the writing is a d…

I simply can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this. Requiem is compact, high-energy, and absolutely filled with the raw emotion and thought-provoking world building that centicerise productions is so good at. The art, music, and sfx are all the same high quality I expect from Fallstreak, with the sfx in particular I think getting a noticeable upgrade. It's a lot faster paced than the other fallstreak games, but not in a way that feels like it skips emotional weight. Rather, it just feels like its only saying exactly what it wants to say, with very little fluff. Requiem also reveals a lot of "secrets" about the nature of Socotrine, and I just love how centicerise builds worlds. The world is somehow completely fantasical while remaining very relatable, and is filled with pieces that make you want to uncover more while also asking some very real questions about free will, identity, and purpose. It can be played as a standalone piece or as part of the series. I'm replaying the first Fallstreak now, and I actually would recommend Requiem as the first piece to read for any newcomers to the series, despite it being the second installation. This is because it is both very digestibl…
